Komodo Island is the New 7 Wonders of the World Now

Komodo Island in East remains one of the main finalists of the 28 finalists the New Seven Wonder of Nature (N7W). Determination of winners will be held on 11-11-2011 is through voting. Earlier, President N7W, Bernard Weber, located in Switzerland intends to write off the island of Komodo from the list of finalists.

Thousands of candidates from more than 440 locations and 220 countries for the 7 wonders of nature began nominated on July 7, 2007. Filtered 77 finalists. The number was narrowed to 28 finalists, including Indonesia. The finalists were announced July 21, 2009. Finalists, among others, the Bay of Fundy (Venezuela), Angel Falls (Canada), Black Forest (Germany), Bu Tinah Shoals (United Arab Emirates), Cliffs of Moher (Ireland), the Dead Sea (Palestine, Israel, Jordan), El Yunque (Puerto Rico), Galapagos (Ecuador), Grand Canyon (United States), Halong Bay (Vietnam), etc..
