The total area of Komodo National Park is about 1817 square kilometers. This national park serves to protect animals and their environment dragons. And in 1986, the Park was inaugurated by UNESCO as a World Heritage.
Because of the natural beauty of Komodo Island owned and is a legacy of the world where Komodo dragons also a place of his Dragon, then a few years later, the foundation of New 7 Wonders of Nature of Nature enter Komodo Island as one candidate New 7 Wonders of the World.
Every effort has been made the Government of Indonesia, its people, to realize Komodo Island bearing the title as the new wonder of the world. Besides vote on the website New 7 Wonders of Nature, the Indonesian government is also heavily promoting the island of Komodo to various parts of the world. The latest results I get before writing this article, Komodo Island is temporarily located at position 6 from 28 candidates. Come give your support for Komodo Island Being the new World Wonders.
